Statutory Price Disclosure for Vermont Prescribers

Vermont law 18 V.S.A. § 4633 requires pharmaceutical marketers to disclose to Vermont doctors and other prescribers the prices of the drugs they market as well as the prices of others drugs in the same therapeutic class. The "price per pill" disclosed is derived from "Average Wholesale Prices" published by third party pricing services. We are required to use these prices for the disclosure forms. These prices are not established by Turing Pharmaceuticals and are not often the actual prices charged to consumers.
